Developing a Corporate Culture
In these times, we very clearly recognize that a well-functioning corporate culture is indispensable when it comes to reacting successfully to change. A technical infrastructure that responds to the need for new communication channels can be set up and implemented relatively quickly, but a corporate culture needs time to establish itself. A well-known quote on this topic, from management consultant Peter Drucker, is “Culture eats strategy for breakfast.” This expresses the crucial role of corporate culture in the implementation of strategies.
Especially now, when many people are working from home and working hours are more flexible, a well-functioning corporate culture is an important basis for successful work. It also helps support changes that are reflected by significantly more diverse teams and the increased promotion of gender equality in the workplace. After all, it’s all about trust – within the team, trust in the management, in new working conditions and circumstances and, of course, trust in oneself to deal with change openly and confidently.
